Set in 130 acres of beautiful natural Mediterranean scenery, Finca Llevant enjoys breath-taking panoramic views and revels in a glorious series of seven gardens totalling 15,000sqm, and featuring a marvellous series of cascading ponds and Arabic style fountains, filled with water lilies and set in paved pathways and stone wall-lined arbours of jasmine and bougainvillea wending their way through groves of olive, pomegranate, citrus, and cyprus trees, many strung with hammocks. The gardens can be illuminated at night, creating a magical atmosphere. Clients may help themselves to the organic vegetable garden. The exceptionally large swimming pool with broad Roman steps is set in a sunny lawned area in a lower section of the garden, surrounded by a broad paved border, with a pool house and plenty of sunloungers and parasols.
Finca Llevant dates originally from the 16th century, and its warm stone construction blends harmoniously with the Mediterranean landscape that surrounds it. There are several breezy terraces to the side and rear of the house, adorned with the most comfortable and colourful outdoor furniture, and one dining room can be opened to the outside via glass French doors.
The Finca has been recently refurbished to the highest and uncompromising aesthetic and architectural standards, and enjoys all the most modern amenities, while remaining in harmony with traditional Mallorquín values coupled with exquisite neo-romantic Italian taste. The main entrance with two grand arches gives onto spacious, beautifully-furnished salons which lead through sumptuous dining rooms, the fully-equipped kitchen with its extensive pantry, a striking interior courtyard with a fountain, and a lovely glazed-in dining porch with access into the intimate, private chapel. Weddings are possible in the consecrated chapel.
There is a spacious and comfortable bedroom suite off the entrance hallway, with its own sitting area, a double bedroom, and an en suite bathroom with wc. A stairway off a cozy living area to the rear of the ground floor leads up to three bedroom suites (one double and two twins) on the first floor, all with their own sitting/dressing area with fireplace, and en suite bathroom and wc.
Next to the ground floor bedroom suite another staircase leads up to the first floor living area, running the length of the building, and featuring at one end a grand piano in top condition; this room is often used for concerts. A large library/music room with a comprehensive collection of classical music CDs gives onto a broad terrace overlooking the gardens down to the pool area, and a delightful art-nouveau window overlooks the fountains and cascades of the garden. Four more bedroom suites (one double, three twins), sitting/dressing areas, and en suite bathroom/wc facilities, give onto the first floor living area, and there are two additional single beds available in a tower room which enjoys wonderful views in all directions. All the bedrooms are beautifully furnished and comfortable. All baths have stand-up showers (there are no separate showers).

Finca Llevant is located on the northeastern coast of Mallorca, with breathtaking panoramic views of the Tramuntana mountain range, Cap de Formentor, the Bay of Alcúdia, and the Serra de Llevant mountains to the south. Vast Mediterranean fields surrounding the property were once the hills and forests of royal game reserves, and the area has preserved its pristine rustic character. The coastline is lined with pleasant small villages and intimate calas, or coves.
There is a shop for basic items in Son Serra de Marina (5km). All shopping facilities are available in the touristic town of Can Picafort (11km) to the north and the charming town of Artà (18km) to the east. The busy resort of Alcúdia is 21km to the north. Market days are Tuesdays in Artà and Wednesdays in Sineu (27km). The island capital of Palma de Mallorca is within an easy hour's drive, 64km to the southwest.
The nature reserve of Son Real is a short distance away (5km), and offers riding, cycling, and hiking routes. There are several top-quality golf courses within a short distance, and the picturesque towns of Petra (16km), Capdepera (23km), and Son Servera (24km) are nearby. In Son Servera the renowned art gallery, Sa Pleta Freda, exhibit works by major Spanish contemporary painters and sculptors. There are interesting archaeological sites at Illot des Porros, and the eastern coast of Mallorca has some dramatic seaside caves such as the Drach Caves (35km), well worth a visit.
There is a great selection of beaches nearby. Close to the busy resorts such as Can Picafort there are many 'virgin' beaches nearby: Sa Canova and Platja Son Real are close to each other (5km and 6km from the house) with a few beach restaurants at Son Serra de Marina next door, and a little further away the beautiful beaches of Cala Torta and Cala Mesquida (25km and 27km).
There are many very good restaurants in the area including S'Oratge (Costa dels Pins 29km), Sa Bruscheta (Son Servera 24km), Cap Vermell and Cala Rotja (Canyamel 24km), and also a good selection of good, simpler beach restaurants in the area.
There has been very positive feedback regarding this property but unfortunately we have no written comments from our clients to quote at this stage as this is a newly acquired property.
A truly magnificent property, luxurious and so beautifully furnished and decorated, with all the amenities you could want. The gardens may remind you a little bit of the Alhambra.
