This stunning 17th century villa enjoys a privileged position in the village of Cetona, and has been an architectural treasure for generations set in two acres of park. Of the original three towers, today only the principal one remains, forming the central part of the villa, and the entire setting is one of tranquility and past splendour. When entering through the gates, there is an arcade-like driveway leading to an amphitheatre with various stairways to the house and garden. The delightful swimming pool is made from travertine stones from an ancient Roman bridge. A stylish gazebo with high quality garden furniture offers an ideal spot for al fresco dining and relaxing. Amidst the two acres of park-like gardens there is a profusion of flowering plants, olive groves, and centenary trees, all creating an extraordinarily tranquil atmosphere. There is a pool house with living area, fully-equipped kitchen, shower room with wc, sauna, and a large vaulted room for functions. From the grounds of the villa the views are of stunning countryside.
The main entrance to the villa opens onto an enchanting double-aspect living/drawing room, with an open marble fireplace. A splendid hall leads through to a large and well-equipped kitchen, a laundry room, and a cloakroom. Double doors lead to a large Roman-style dining room with French doors to the terrace and garden.
From the hall a grand marble staircase leads to a gallery landing on the first floor, giving onto three large double bedrooms and one twin bedroom, all with fabulous en-suite bathrooms. Another flight of stairs leads to the second floor with a large library/study. On this floor there are two more double bedrooms, all with luxury en-suite bathrooms.
Every room features many original antiques and fine fabrics; the exquisite décor and attention to detail has resulted in a unique and quite splendid property, and a fantastic venue for weddings and other special events.
All the bedrooms are air conditioned.

The house was beautiful and the air-con in the bedrooms very efficient. The pool and garden were very well maintained, loungers plentiful and comfortable, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.

One of the loveliest gardens we have; cypresses, palm trees, roses, and flowerbeds, among decorative stone features in authentic Tuscan style. The interior is elegant and comfortable.
