Maison Mondou enjoys a lovely location in the heart of the Lot-et-Garonne region, an area rich in all the delights France has to offer. Beautiful dramatic scenery greets you at every turn: castles perched high over the Dordogne River valley, the spectacular Gouffre de Padirac caves, tranquil rivers winding their way through limestone cliffs, and many fascinating prehistoric sites. The fortified “bastide” towns of Monpazier, Eymet, Villefranche, and others are remarkably well-preserved witnesses to turbulent times. Nowadays they host lively night markets and local farmers' markets, with the finest local produce and gourmet specialities on offer.

Brilliant holiday. Villa was beautifully presented. Dermod is a star.
Our second time at Maison Mondou, and once again we had a super time. Would happily go back again. Dermod couldn’t have gone more out of his way to help, and the booking process with you guys was effortless. The pool in particular made it for us. Utterly relaxing, and a beautiful part of France.
Just to say that we had the most wonderful holiday at Maison Mondou. It is an awesome house in the most gorgeous setting. Made so much nicer being more a home than a holiday letting. Dermod was very relaxing and helpful; we found the house in perfect order when we arrived. He sourced all our requirements and the fans (and potties!) were greatly appreciated. Just one suggestion, the hot water is lovely and hot but for safety and little children I would say it is hotter than is allowed in the UK?
Faultless - everything we had hoped for and more. Dermod (the caretaker) couldn't have been more helpful, particularly in arranging a meal for us on the evening we arrived.
