Location

This modern villa is located about 2.5km from the small town of Vaison-la-Romaine, which offers a wide range of shops, cafés and restaurants, as well as a Tuesday market and all sports facilities. It is also of historic interest as a major site for Roman archaeological finds. There are many enjoyable excursions from here to the Dentelles de Montmirail mountains and to Mont Ventoux. Orange is 35km away and Avignon at 53km. Horse riding is possible at Vaison (2km) and there are a 9 hole golf course near Orange (31km) and three 18 hole golf courses close to Avignon (52km).

Exterior

Located at the top of a hill at the end of a small residential area, the villa commands exceptional panoramic views of Mont Ventoux and the surrounding countryside. The newly-installed swimming pool is set on a lower level of an attractively landscaped garden of 1500sqm. It benefits from a solar heating system which helps raise and maintain the temperature of the water by a few degrees, weather permitting.

Interior

The new owners have completely refurbished the house with a new kitchen and new bathrooms. The interior is very bright and airy and there are wonderful views from all the windows. There are two garages (can be used by clients) and a shower room with a wc at ground level. On the first floor are a large living/dining room with a balcony, a well-equipped kitchen as well as a summer kitchen, and a separate wc. On the second floor are the master double bedroom with an en suite bathroom, three twin bedrooms, a shower room and a separate wc.
