This stunning modern villa boasts a beautiful position 5km from Lourmarin, classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France, with all shops and services. The Château of Lourmarin was the first Renaissance castle to be built in Provence. Also close by are the charming villages of Cucuron (2km) with its ancient ramparts and its landmark pond surrounded by magnificient two-hundred year old plane trees, and Cadenet (6.5km) with its Château and panoramic views of the Luberon and Alpilles mountains, and its Monday market. The nearest supermarket can be found at Puyvert (7km). The typical villages of Gordes, Bonnieux, Ménerbes, Roussillon and Lacoste, to name just a few, are all within easy reach and have markets all year round. L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue (43km) has a famous antiques market.

The closest town is Apt (23km) which offers all services and a Saturday market in a charming provençal setting. Lively Aix-en-Provence (39km) is another lovely town with many markets, fine restaurants, and exclusive shopping. Cavaillon with its twice-weekly market is 38km away.

There are tennis courts in Lourmarin, horse riding in Lauris (9km) and bike hire in Villelaure (10km). There are an 18 hole golf course 25km away in Mallemort, and a leisure lake (swimming, sailing, fishing) in La Motte-d'Aigues (10km).  There are beautiful beaches all along the Mediterranean coast with the closest in Marseille (65km), Carry-le-Rouet (74km), Sausset-les-Pins (79km), La Couronne (83km), Cassis (89km) and La Ciotat (90km).

The interior has been beautifully decorated and furnished with much attention to detail in a contemporary style well suited to its provençal setting. The rooms in the main house are distributed over three floors. On the ground floor are a large open-plan living area with a billiard table and a dining corner opening onto a terrace, a well-equipped modern kitchen, and a separate wc. On the first floor are two large twin bedrooms (can be made up as doubles) each with bathrooms integrated within the room and a separate wc, and one with a large private covered terrace. There is a lower level below the living area with a huge dormitory with eight single beds and an en suite shower room and a separate wc, and a twin bedroom (can be made up as a double) with an en suite shower room and wc.

The annexe is contained in a wing of the house with external access only. It consists of a double bedroom with a mezzanine with a single bed, and an en suite bathroom with a separate wc, and a twin bedroom (can be made up as a double) with an additional single sofabed and an en suite bathroom with a separate shower and a separate wc.
