Built in 1884 and recently restored to a high standard, this former barn enjoys a very good location in the southern Vendée close to sandy beaches and interesting activities. It is located 2km from the village of Moutiers-les-Mauxfaits, which has a good selection of shops and services, a supermarket, a weekly market and a tennis court. 2km away at St-Bernard is an adventure park, “Indian Forest”, with paintball, pony rides and walking trails through the trees.

There are good sandy beaches nearby – Longeville-sur-Mer (13km), La Tranche-sur-Mer (16km) and Les Sables-d’Olonne (28km). Clémenceau’s house can be visited at St-Vincent-sur-Jard (15km). The wonderful historic theme park of Puy du Fou is 74km away and well worth a visit. There are two 18 hole golf courses 18km away.

The property is located next to a farm which belongs to the owners. The house is quite private and set in a nicely landscaped lawned garden of 2500sqm with activities for children.

The indoor swimming pool is accessible from inside the house and opens out onto a large terrace, ideal for outdoor meals. The pool is heated to 28°C free of charge.

The interior has been well decorated and has a clean and modern feel to it. The spacious proportions of the barn have been respected creating a very pleasant open-plan living/dining room extending into a well-equipped kitchen area. Occupancy is limited to 8 persons with the possibility of one or two additional children (on request).
