This beautiful 18th century 'pressoir' (apple press) is located just 3km from the charming village of Beuzeville which offers a good selection of shops, restaurants and supermarkets, and a market on Tuesdays. Historic Honfleur (16km) is the oldest recorded town in France; it has a beautiful picturesque harbour, a Saturday market and is home to the Satie and Boudin (the father of Impressionism) museums. Deauville (30km) is famous for its promenade, beaches, casino, horse racing most of the year, polo in August and an international film festival in September. Both the Bayeux tapestry and Monet's gardens at Giverny are just over an hour's drive away. Rouen and its cathedral is at 70km and the spectacular Basilica in Lisieux is within half an hour's drive. The landing beaches are an hour away. Cherbourg's underwater exploration centre (186km) with its impressive aquarium is a must for children.

The property is 40 minutes from Caen and 30 minutes from the beautiful sandy beaches at Deauville and Trouville (23km). There is a great choice of sports and activities: catamaran, wind/sand surfing and jet skiing in Deauville, a sailing school in Trouville, horse riding at Beuzeville, Thalassotherapie in Deauville, bike hire at Pont-l'Evêque (15km), and many golf courses with the closest 18 hole course 15 minutes' away by car.

The interior is spacious and comfortable. On the ground floor is large hallway opening onto an open-plan room consisting of a comfortable living room, a spacious dining room, a well-equipped kitchen with a small breakfast table, as well as a shower room and a separate wc. A large landing with a TV, Playstation and a double sofabed separates the first floor into two: on one side are two double bedrooms and a twin bedroom (with washbasin) which share a large bathroom, and two separate wcs; on the other are a double bedroom, a twin bedroom with an additional child's bed and a dressing room, and a shower room.
