This substantial  stone 'Mas' is located 3km from Malaucène, a charming village at the foot of Mont Ventoux dating from the 10th century and has medieval, Gallic and Roman structures. Malaucène has many restaurants, cafés, wineries and galleries. You can also enjoy the summer festivals and outdoor fêtes. The Wednesday morning market is a must-see with its local merchants selling regional produce and handicraft. A full range of shops and restaurants, a Tuesday morning market, tennis courts, bike hire  and horse riding can be found in the beautiful medieval town of Vaison (11km). The larger shopping town of Orange is 44km away and Carpentras 20km to the south.

There are tennis courts and bike hire at Malaucène. Horse riding is possibe at Beaumont-du-Ventoux (5km). There are 18 hole golf courses near Avignon (all within 40km). Swimming and fishing are possible 2km away in the River Toulourenc, and canoeing on the River Ourèze at Mollans (15km). There is good skiing nearby on the beautiful quiet slopes of Mont Ventoux at a small resort (20 minutes by car). Summer skiing on grass is also possible at the same resort.
