In the pretty town of Villeneuve-lès-Avignon, this elegant old bastide enjoys a wonderful location just 3km from Avignon (regular bus service) and close to many interesting towns - Nîmes (46km), Uzès (39km), Vaison-la-Romaine (54km) and Arles (44km). The centre of the town with many good restaurants and a good selection of shops is 500m away, and there is a public tennis court at 100m.

There are 18 hole golf courses at Morières-les-Avignon and at Védène (both 6km from Avignon). The Avignon festival takes place in July, and there is another at Châteauneuf-du-Pape in August (22km). Isle-sur-la-Sorgue (28km) is a dream village for antique collectors. There are beautiful beaches all along the Mediterranean coast with the closest in Marseille and Carry-le-Rouet (both 107km), the Camargue resort of Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer (109km), Sausset-les-Pins (112km) and La Couronne (116km).

Beautifully restored, the tasteful and original interior is decorated with fine antiques and contemporary paintings. The spacious entrance hall is used as a dining room and opens onto the stylish living room to one side and a well-equipped kitchen to another. On the ground floor there are also a double bedroom, a shower room and a separate wc.

On the first floor are a sitting room with an impressive glass dome looking down to the living room below, four double bedrooms (one of which can only be reached via another), a large bathroom and a separate wc. On the second floor is a twin bedroom for children (stairs lead into this room via one of the double bedrooms on the first floor).
