The property is set in an exceptionally beautiful garden within 5 hectares of grounds with direct access to a thousand hectares of woods in the mountainous Alpilles area. It enjoys wonderful panoramic views of hilly countryside. The caretakers occupy a wing of the house (access separate, parking shared).

The pool benefits from a solar heating system which helps raise and maintain the temperature of the water by a few degrees, weather permitting.

The thick stone walls keep the interior cool and the many different levels and exposed stone walls give the feel of a small château. On the ground floor is a spacious living room, a sitting room, a large dining room incorporating the kitchen, a double bedroom, a bathroom and a separate wc.

There are two sets of stairs leading to the first floor. Care must be taken with older people and young children due to the different levels inside and outside.
