Location

Set in 12 acres of vineyards and woods, and surrounded by flowering gardens and lawns, this beautifully restored old provençal farmhouse is located 3km from the old Roman town of Vaison-la-Romaine, a major centre for provençal festivals and cultural events and a picturesque town of great historic interest. Shops, restaurants and sporting facilities of all kinds can be found at Vaison and it is the perfect starting point for delightful excursions into the heart of the Ventoux region.

Exterior

The house enjoys a secluded and tranquil setting in a lovely garden with fruit trees and pines extending into vineyards. The salt-water (no chemicals) swimming pool nestles in the centre of well-maintained lawns on a lower level; it is surrounded by an expansive paved terrace for sunbathing and there is a pool house with a (cold) shower. A spacious barn with a games area provides covered parking.

Interior

The interior is very attractively furnished to a high standard. The spacious living room features a fireplace open on two sides. A large dining room opens out onto a sunny terrace and is overlooked by a long gallery onto which several of the bedrooms open. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern. One double bedroom with its own en suite bathroom with a wc forms a separate studio with independent access from the outside.

Occupancy is limited to 10 persons.

Bookings for up to 6 persons only (three bedrooms will be closed) are possible at a reduced rate outside the months of July and August - please enquire.
