Our most unusual property, for sure. A small circular room on each floor - so cosy and intimate. The size of the pool is quite a contrast.

Windmill Dining room/kitchen, 1 shower room with wc, 2 double bedrooms
Annexe 1 shower room with wc, 1 twin bedroom
Located 5km from the picturesque village of Cajarc in the lower Lot River Valley, this is our most unusual property: a windmill, originally constructed in 1797, fully restored and recently renovated to provide unique and pleasant holiday accommodation. Cajarc is a lively place with good shopping facilities (small shops and supermarket), restaurants and cafés, as well as a tennis court and horse riding.
There are many interesting towns and villages nearby: Figeac (24km) a beautiful historic town, Cadrieu (10km) with its typical old stone houses, Béduer (15km) with its 12th century château, Larroque-Toirac (18km) on an imposing cliff edge overlooking the spectacular Lot River, to list just a few.
Bike hire is possible in Figeac, horse riding in Larnagol (6km) and canoeing and kayaking in Cajarc. There is a 9 hole golf course near the beautiful town of Villefranche-de-Rouergue (33km) and 18 hole courses at Lachapelle-Auzac (73km) and Onet-le-Château (79km).
The windmill is simply furnished and the interior is small, but has a great deal of character, with wood beams and many features. Each floor contains one room (diameter: 4.2m). On the ground floor is a kitchen with a dining table and a small sofa; on the first floor are a double bedroom and a shower room with a wc; on the top floor a further double bedroom.
The annexe is located on the other side of the pool and consists of a shower room with a wc on the ground floor and a twin bedroom on the first floor. It is built entirely in eco-friendly materials and has a composting toilet.
