A better selection of shops and services can be found in the larger town of Montendre (12km) which also has facilities for bicycle hire, horse riding and tennis, and a 9 hole golf course. There is a leisure lake at 8km. The interesting towns of Bordeaux (60km), St Emilion (48km) and Cognac (60km) are easy to reach. The property enjoys close proximity to some of the well-known wine producing centres including Blaye, Médoc, Pomerol, Entre-Deux-Mers and Sauternes.
