Set on a hillside with panoramic views towards mountains and the small village of Seillans (1km), this attractive 18th century bastide is ideally situated for exploring the unspoilt Var area. Basic shops can be found in the village a short walk away through the property grounds, as well as horse riding and tennis courts. Fayence (5km) is a charming provençal hillside town with many shops, restaurants, a market on Fridays and tennis courts. The typical provençal village of Bargemon (13km), one of France's loveliest villages, is situated at an altitude of 480m and surrounded by delightful contryside with olive groves. Draguignan (30km) has excellent shopping streets and large parks and the beautiful medieval perfume town of Grasse is 33km away. Windsurfing, swimming and fishing are possible at the Lac de St-Cassien (15km). There are two luxury 18 hole golf courses 6km away at Tourrettes.

The nearest sandy beaches can be found in La Napoule (38km), Théoule-sur-Mer and Fréjus (both 40km), St-Raphaël (42km) and Cannes (44km). All offer very good nautical activities (sea diving, water-skiing, kayak, canoeing, boat hiring, upward parachute). Bicycle hire is possible at Montauroux (14km), a charming hilltop village with its narrow streets and old fountains.

The interior is very tasteful and comfortable. On the ground floor are a spacious living/dining room with french doors opening onto the garden, a kitchen, a single bedroom and a bathroom with a wc. On the first floor are three double bedrooms and a bathroom with a wc. On the second floor (the original hayloft) there is a huge room with two double beds, a bathroom with a wc and a shower room.

The accommodation at the Cabanon is on one level and very spacious. It consists of a living area, a kitchen, two communicating bedrooms (one double, one with 3 single beds) and two shower rooms each with a wc.
