Location

Built in a provençal style, this elegant villa is situated in a very exclusive and peaceful residential area of Vence. A full range of shops and services can be found in Vence (2.5km) where there are also public tennis courts and bicycle hire. Horse riding is possible at Col de Vence (6km) and golf courses at Valbonne and Mougins (12km). The nearest beach is at Cagnes-sur-Mer, 8.5km away. Vence is an interesting town with an old cathedral, part of which dates back to Roman times, and a chapel decorated by the world famous artist, Matisse.

Exterior

The property is situated in an enclosed well-kept garden of 2000sqm on a hill with fine views of the Mediterranean coast and Cap d'Antibes in the distance. There is an open terrace suitable for dining al fresco, and sloping lawns lead down to the swimming pool set in a large paved area.

Interior

The interior of the house is tastefully furnished in a mixture of styles. On the ground floor there is a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast table, a spacious living/dining room with an attractive beamed ceiling and french windows opening out onto the main terrace with lovely views. There is one double bedroom on this floor which also leads out onto the terrace, a shower room and a separate wc. Upstairs are a bathroom, a shower room, a separate wc and three double bedrooms, two of which share a terrace.
