Location

This recently refurbished contemporary house (built in 1988) is located 4km from the pretty village of St-Romain-en-Viennois which offers all shops and services. The lively market town of Vaison-la-Romaine is also close by (7km) and has a good selection of restaurants and shops and a Tuesday market. Orange and Carpentras are both 35km away. Tennis courts, bike hire and horse riding can be found at Vaison, the perfect starting point for delightful excursions into the heart of the Ventoux region. There is a 9 hole golf course at Orange and three 18 hole golf courses near Avignon, all about 50km away.

Exterior

There are two hectares of grounds (apricot trees, vines, olive trees, lavender) surrounded by lovely rolling countryside and panoramic views of Mont-Ventoux. The stylish black painted swimming pool is set in a very attractive garden. There is a large pool house at one end of the pool with oriental style seating and a dining area.

Interior

The interior is very bright, quite compact and integrates well with the exterior. The furnishings are very attractive with Moroccan influences. The hallway opens out onto a spacious living/dining room which opens onto a large covered terrace; on the ground floor there are also a separate kitchen and a double bedroom.

On the first floor are a twin bedroom with an en suite shower room and a wc, another twin bedroom overlooking the pool and with views towards Mont Ventoux, and a shower room with a wc.

An independent annexe (only accessible from the exterior) contains a large double bedroom with an additional single bed, a lovely shower room, a separate wc, and a private terrace with panoramic views.
