Located in an unspoilt area within the beautiful landscape of the Gard and close to the many Roman towns of Provence, the Mas de Cadignac is a wonderful provençal 'Mas', typical of the region. The closest town is Bagnols-sur-Cèze (10km), a medieval citadel full of charm and activities (tennis courts, swimming in the River Cèze, horse riding, bike hire). There are many small hilltop villages to explore close by, as well as the beautiful Cèze Valley. The charming town of Uzès (28km) and the famous Pont du Gard (28km) are well worth a visit, and the great towns of Provence are within easy reach: Orange (44km), Avignon (44km) and Nîmes (59km). There are many golf courses in the area.

Built in 1750 this typical provençal farmhouse enjoys beautiful views over terraced vineyards, wooded hills and down into the valley of the Cèze. There is a large south-facing terrace overlooking the 7500sqm enclosed Mediterranean garden planted with lavender, olive trees, bamboo and fruit trees. The large swimming pool, which is heated between 23°C and 29°C free of charge, has a Californian beach for toddlers.

The house has recently been restored and modernised to a high standard. The furnishings are all contemporary and blend in well with the natural stone floors, oak beams and exposed stone walls. On the ground floor are a very spacious living/dining room, a second dining area off a very well-equipped kitchen with granite worktops, a games room, a double bedroom with an en suite shower room with a wc, a twin bedroom, and a shower room with a wc. There are two sound systems on this floor.

On the first floor are a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom with a separate shower unit and a wc, two twin bedrooms, a bedroom with one pair of bunk beds, two shower rooms each with a wc, and a separate wc.
