Mr & Mrs Boland: Even though it was our third visit to la Garinie we still enjoyed our stay. The pool, the countryside, the barbecues on the back terrace, the comfort in the château and the owner's kind hospitality all combined to make our family reunion such a happy time.

Ann Evans: The Château is truly fantastic, well equipped, spacious and furnished with superb antiques. The size of the swimming pool was more than adequate for our two families and extremely well maintained. The surrounding area was a huge surprise - so many beautiful medieval towns in the lesser known part of South West France.

Julia Aitken: What a marvellous holiday we had at the beautiful and grand Château (or castle as the children called it!). The owners were excellent hosts and every last thing was thought about and exceptionally well done.

We also enjoyed various facilities in the surrounding countryside, including my first canoe trip down a river at the age of 70. Much to the enjoyment of my son in law I got drenched!!
