Ms Michelle Dorion: Le Petit Mas was wonderful. It suited us perfectly and there was tons for all of us to do.
Mr Nicholas Tanner: A very enjoyable holiday, catering for everyone - from 6 months old to 75 years old! Véronique was charming, very helpful (booking restaurants, drawing maps and suggesting days out). Lovely family property, ideal for children, very homely.
Mrs Julie Johnson: The Petit Mas is a beautiful house with a larger than average pool. The location is superb in quiet countryside with long lanes to stroll on or cycle down and a river at the bottom of the hill if you want to try a bit of fishing. The owner, Véronique, is very friendly and helpful, and is always willing to import her local knowledge to help you enjoy your stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - that's why we have been twice!
Martha Clarke: This year's holiday was just as wonderful as the last one we had with your company. The villa itself was incredibly well equipped. Future clients could be told there are endless baby supplies including bibs, monitors and dishes - would save dragging their own out. And the playroom and toys were a real bonus given the weather. Mme Chauvin is a wonderful hostess - friendly and welcoming. I would recommend her villa to anyone.
Mrs Louise Lazenby: The farmhouse is in a lovely location and is beautifully restored. The swimming pool is brilliant and the owner is a wonderful cook and took great care of us.
Mr Christopher Hepple: Good 3 generation extended family holiday villa tested to full with unusually inclement weather for August week.
Mr Michael Hill: Excellent property especially for families. Fantastic pool and great host who was very welcoming and helpful.

A lovely friendly house which has generated many good memories.
Second time here – just as good as the first – if not better.
What a beautiful house and garden. A place to remember and come back to.
We have enjoyed our second year at Petit Mas just as much – a splendid house, garden, pool. The area is so pretty and we look forward to exploring it again soon.
Fantastique! What more can I say?

SUNFLOWERS
The other day I started reminiscing about our holiday to France probably because it was a wet rainy day here in England. Last summer our family went on holiday to Charente in the west of France. We stayed in a 16th century manor house with two other families that I’ve known all my life. There were seven children and six parents (sounds good already!!)
I remember looking out at the sunflowers from the car window; they seemed to go on and on, a carpet of bright golden yellow flowers. There were other things that I remembered as well. How could I forget the breathtaking view as I woke up in the morning, the trees and the houses in the distance! The hills that always looked misty in the morning and the clean fresh smell of the garden, especially of lavender when we arrived.
The games of sardines and hide and seek in the beautiful garden, bursting with flowers that went on until nearly ten o’clock at night. I laughed when I thought about when we went looking for the tennis court nearby and finding it locked, we went looking for the town hall (that’s where it said to go), not finding it and giving up and going paddling in the stream. Later we found the key in the pot at the house. I loved canoeing, I was in a boat with mum and when we started we went through nearly all the trees at the edges of the river and kept crashing into the bank. We got out and had a picnic and worried about the canoes drifting away. When we finished we found half the river’s foliage in our hair.
My favourite thing about the house wasn’t the garden, or the views, or the glorious weather (after the first two days!!) but the pool. The hours we spent in the warm water, all the children and sometimes the parents. Diving in, getting splashed by dad doing cannonballs, playing a huge game of a sort of water polo with kids against parents in which all the rules were broken (that was the best bit). Then I sighed and thought how we should go back there this year, and maybe we will.
