The stay in Bargemon was very nice, the house was beautiful (views superb, with new covered terrace, it is really a very nice and tasteful place) and I enjoyed the environment very much, especially Bargemon itself with some very nice but unpretentious restaurants.

We have been to France on many occasions and Bargemon certainly did not disappoint us. Beautiful scenery, wonderful accommodation and we were totally lost is the French way of life. Exceptional and memorable holiday had by all (ages between 15 and 55). We would dearly love to return one day.

This house is just beautiful. It has the best views in the area and is perfectly situated, just minutes walk from the wonderful village of Bargemon, with its great restaurants, galleries, fountains and hidden pretty quiet squares. The views over the rooftops from the terraces and the main living room are spectacular. The house itself has everything you could want and feels like a real home with its beautiful art work and furniture. What makes it special is that it is a house that is also a very well loved and cared for home. The incredibly friendly and helpful owners spend time at the house every year, enjoying, and loving it as a home, but also ensuring it is kept in tip top order for their guests. The pool is fabulous and there are several different terraces to sit on, to take advantage of the changing light at different times of the day. The large terraced garden is full of surprises, with clearings big enough for picnics and ball games, rock pools, trees with rope swings, fabulous herbs and plants and a real live bat cave. Our children have enjoyed adventures there that will live with them forever. We have spent many summer vacations here, returning year after year, and it will always be a very special place for our family.
I am very envious of anyone visiting for the first time.....it is a real find.

This villa is truly my slice of heaven. I am concerned every time the owners make the slightest improvements (how could it possibly be improved upon?!). The villa, set high above the village, has the most spectacular views over to the neighbouring village and over Bargemon itself. It is beautifully furnished and has everything you could desire from a swimming pool, barbecue facilities, board games and an excellent book collection. The area itself is great for pretty car drives, cycling and hiking as there is an abundance of quaint villages and breathtaking countryside. Although I rather like wandering into the village square and having a glass of wine or beer in the shade of the trees, followed by a ramble through the wonderful art and antiques shops. I have spent two deliciously long holidays here with both family and friends, and every time I stay it feels like I am leaving my home. I am just so grateful that the lovely owners continue to let out their home.

We spent 2 glorious weeks in this property. The weather was amazing so we interspersed total indolence with sporadic trips into the surrounding countryside. The house is a fascinating place, full of character. It is well presented and kept clean by a local housekeeper. The location in relation to the village is ideal. There are many places of interest in both the immediate area and further afield.

I wanted to write to say thank you for letting your beautiful villa. The children loved the pool especially all the inflatables and we loved the view ... well you know. We found the house fascinating - my husband is a keen runner, but doesn't often meet people who would so convincingly have beaten him as your husband! We loved relaxing on the terrace or by the pool. We had many busy days walking in the hills and going to the Gorges du Verdon, where we pedalloed through a huge thunderstorm. Bargemon itself was delightful to wander down to in the evenings. It was the most marvellous week in a very special place, we so enjoyed ourselves; the villa exceeded our expectations, which were already high, so thank you very much for making it such a lovely place.

Exceptional and memorable had by all (ages between 15 and 55). We would dearly love to return one day and hope that we can call upon you some time in the future. One thing Frédérique ... Would dearly love to have a memory of our time in Bargemon. Where did you get those wonderful garden peacocks from? No way could I pretend that my garden would be the same setting but I would love to purchase one so that I could dream! If you could give me details where I could purchase one that would be great. Once again, thank you so much for enabling our family to experience a wonderful holiday.

Simply amazing. I can without doubt say staying at this villa made for one of the most relaxing and enjoyable holidays we have been on. A group of friends from New Zealand, we are used to being surrounded by great weather and the beautiful outdoors. Bargemon and its surrounds did not disappoint.
The house was perfect. Located just a short walk from the village centre the house is close enough for the morning stroll for coffee and croissants yet far enough away to be completely private. Each day the large patio provided the perfect place to eat and drink fine wine while gazing over the village, mountains and valleys in the distance. The barbeque was fired up most nights, cooking local produce from the village butcher while we feasted on cheese purchased from the nearby markets. The pool was a highlight and provided a luxury escape from the sun and a place to relax and read. All bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. With nine people in our group, there still remained plenty of room throughout the house to relax.
We would highly recommend making the trips the owners and other guests recommend in the visitor books at the house. Our highlight was the drive to and swim in France's compact Grand Canyon, the Gorges du Verdon.
As with the other reviews, it is worth mentioning the photos and books in almost every room which provided for a wonderful source of discussion and provided for such a homely feel. I cannot wait to find time to return to this wonderful home.
