March artisanal at La Rochelle

Until 15 September 2006 (and each summer thereafter)

The artisans of La Rochelle display their wares on the pedestrian streets of the city throughout the summer season, from the Cours des Dames to the Square Valin and in the old port. Look out especially for some competitively priced sculptures – although most are created in marble resin, not made of genuine marble (you can tell by the weight) – and attractive glass wear.
