Location

This superb house is located at the foot of Mont Ventoux, 1km from the attractive village of Malaucène which offers all shops and services, a Wednesday market and bike hire. A wide selection of shops and services, restaurants and sports activities (tennis courts, horse riding, bike hire) can be found in the pleasant town of Vaison-la-Romaine (10km) where there is a good market on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The larger shopping town of Orange is 38km away and Carpentras 18.5km to the south.

There are a 9 hole golf course at Orange (42km) and three 18 hole courses near Avignon (43km). Swimming, fishing and canoeing are possible 11km away on the River Toulourenc and 13km away on the River Ouvèze at Mollans-sur-Ouvèze. There are many festivals in the summer, including those at Avignon and Vaison-la-Romaine.

Exterior

The property is set in one hectare of open grounds, in a peaceful position surrounded by hilly countryside. The pool area is surrounded by an attractive garden and there are spectacular views of Mont Serein.

Interior

The comfortable interior has been beautifully furnished and decorated in Moroccan style. On the ground floor are a large living room with two seating areas, a dining room, a kitchen, a double bedroom, a large bathroom with a separate shower unit and a wc, and a separate wc. On the first floor are a further three double bedrooms, a bedroom with three single beds, two bathrooms and a separate wc. A separate air-conditioned chalet consists of a twin bedroom.
