Location

This charming villa is located 1.5km from the picturesque village of Séguret which has basic shops and services (one grocers), restaurants and tennis courts. It is classified and listed as one of the 'most beautiful villages of France', at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail mountains, in the heart of the Côtes du Rhône vineyards. There are also a few shops and tennis courts in the fortified village of Sablet (3.5km); it is one of 12 villages awarded the distinction of Côtes du Rhône Villages.

The historical town of Vaison-la-Romaine (6.5km) with its extensive Roman ruins has much to offer, from good restaurants, local produce markets (Tuesdays) and wine production, to sports facilities of all kinds - public tennis courts, riding stables, bike hire - and all shops and services. The lovely towns of Orange and Carpentras (both 23km) are well worth exploring.

There are a 9 hole golf course at Orange (19km) and three 18 hole golf courses near Avignon (44km), and a lake for boating and other sports at Pernes-les-Fontaines (32km).

Exterior

Set on a hill and in half a hectare of partly landscaped gardens, the villa enjoys magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. The swimming pool is set to one side of the house and there is a pleasant covered terrace for outdoor meals just outside the living area.

Interior

The delightful interior is bright and delicately decorated. All the accommodation is at ground level. The kitchen gives on to the living/dining room which in turn opens onto the covered terrace. All the bedrooms (two twins and one double) have double doors opening onto the garden. There is a child's bed in the study, one bathroom, one shower room and two separate wcs.
