Location

This spacious modern villa enjoys a wonderful position 1.5km from the residential area of Beauvallon with its sandy beach good for children, a sailing school, and an 18 hole golf course which also houses a tennis club. The closest shops and restaurants are in the lively town of Ste-Maxime (6km); horse riding is possible here as well as bike hire. There is a large commercial centre 6km away at La Foux. Fashionable St-Tropez is 12km away. The property is conveniently located 1.5km from the main road (no disturbance) which allows easy access to the surrounding area.

Boat trips can be taken from Ste-Maxime to St-Tropez and from Ste-Maxime to the island of Porquerolles (60km). The beautiful Abbaye du Thoronet, a Cistercian abbey founded in the 12th century, is 55km away; it formed part of the "Three Provençal sisters", the other two being L'Abbaye de Sénanque and the Abbaye de Silvacane. The Chartreuse de la Verne (47km) is well worth visiting for its gorgeous location and views.

Exterior

This is the last house in a residential area on the edge of a protected forest where lovely walks can be taken; the forest runs alongside half of the property. The setting is peaceful and there are fabulous views of the St-Tropez bay from the house and 4000sqm garden. The enclosed pool is 30 metres away from the house on a lower level.

Interior

The interior is very spacious and bright, furnished in a simple modern style. All the accommodation is on one level with a circular kitchen and a pleasant patio area at its centre. One wing consists of a large living/dining room which opens onto a covered terrace, the master twin bedroom with its own covered terrace, a bathroom and a separate wc; these terraces have views towards the bay of St-Tropez. The other wing has two twin bedrooms and a double bedroom (with an en suite shower room) which all open onto a large covered terrace with views of the bay of Cannebiers, as well as a bathroom and two separate wcs.

The furnishings are being updated this winter. New photos will be available in spring 2008.
