The property stands in spacious walled grounds, an idyllic setting with pleasant views of the river l'Isle. At the rear of the property is the swimming pool surrounded by timber decking edged by a low wall on two sides, one with a drop of about 1.25 metres. From the pool area, a slope leads down to lawns that edge the bank of the river where fishing is possible. A fence stops access to both the pool and the river edge. Two two-person canoes (life jackets provided) are available for exploring the river's course.

One of the main features of this property is the exceptional covered terrace which runs the full length of the house, within which there is a dining area, a barbecue and table tennis. Between the pool and the terrace there is a gravelled area (ideal for playing boules) which is shared by large "Trees of Heaven" and overlooks the swimming pool, garden and the river.

The owners occupy a small house adjoining the main building, well separated by tall bushes. Because of the proximity of the river, careful supervision of small children is necessary.
